ABOUT ME.

MY NAME IS TINA, AND I’M…

a current fourth year at Harvard University studying Computer Science and Physics, with a secondary field in Philosophy.

A lot of different things excite me, but if I had to pick just two, I’d say it’s the visual arts and understanding how the universe works. In particular, for these two niches, my (essentially) life-long obsessions have been with emulating the texture and fluidity of fabric in other media (particularly oil paints), and black holes, respectively.

In my free time, I love exploring restaurants and cafés around Boston, the city I grew up in and also spent my undergraduate years in. I also have an extensive plant collection that I amassed during quarantine, although quite a few have died since then. When I have the supplies, I enjoy oil painting deeply, although I’ve picked up digital painting as well.

Some of my favorite things are the blooming Boston florals in early May, autumn runs along the Charles River Esplanade, the courtyard of Eliot House, and pretty stationery. I’m hoping to add a few national parks to that list as I’m starting to work my way through them.
